In 2023 and 2024, the DRIVE project was implemented in eight border departments in northern Ivory Coast – Minignan, Tengréla, Téhini, Bouna, Doropo, Kong, Ouangolodougou and Papara, areas considered at risk of infiltration by Sahelian extremist groups.

Thanks to a mixed approach combining surveys of more than 3,500 people and qualitative fieldwork (focus groups, interviews with key informants), DRIVE has made it possible to acquire a deep and data-supported understanding of the local social fabric.
